Together with their families, Katie McIntosh and Jeff Torch announce their engagement. Katie and Jeff got engaged during the eclipse on August 21, 2017.
Katie is the daughter of Kathy McIntosh, Lowville and Jan McIntosh, Copenhagen. She is a graduate of Lowville Academy, Hartwick College in Oneonta and University of Hartford, CT. Katie is employed by Newton Public Schools, Newton, MA as an elementary music teacher.
Jeff is the son of Skip and Penny Torch, Williamsville. He is a graduate of Williamsville East High School, SUNY Geneseo and Rochester Institute of Technology. Jeff is employed by Newton Public Schools, Newton, MA as an elementary school psychologist.
Katie and Jeff met while working together at the Mason-Rice Elementary School in Newton, MA. They reside in Newton, and enjoy being outdoors, hiking, skiing, and spending time with their dog, Birdie.
An August 2018 wedding is being planned in Vernon.
