WATERTOWN, NY — The Board of Trustees and staff of the Flower Memorial Library are proud to announce that the library no longer charges late fines! In an effort to remove barriers of access to Watertown’s public library and to encourage reading among all members of our community, the library will not charge users for materials that are returned late.
A fee may still be charged to a user’s account for reasons including, but not limited to, damage to materials, long overdue, or lost items. Privileges are suspended when the balance owed on an account reaches $2. A fee of $20 will be charged for any late State Park Empire Pass.
Have questions about this new policy? Please contact Library Director Suzie Renzi-Falge at 315-785-7701.
