WATERTOWN, NY —Â Antonio Gonzalez III, 27, of 10234 4th Armored Div. Dr., Apt. 239, Fort Drum, was charged by Watertown police at 12:08 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 24, at 81 Public Square with resisting arrest.
He is accused of attempting to prevent uniformed officers from arresting another man when he wrapped his arms around the third party from behind to prevent officers from placing the subject into handcuffs and refused to let go after being advised several times by officers at about 12:04 a.m. Sunday, police said.
He is summoned to appear Dec. 11 in City Court.
