WATERTOWN, NY — Ryan M. Vasell Jr., 21, of 10524 5th Armored Div. Dr., Fort Drum, was charged by Watertown police at 11:51 p.m. Sunday, March 17, at the Paddock Arcade, 1 Public Square, with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.
He is accused of taking an aggressive stance and closed his fists in a threatening manner toward a police officer at about 11:49 p.m. Sunday, police said.
Mr. Vassell also allegedly tucked his arms under his body and refused to provide them to three police officers for handcuffing, according to court documents.
He was released to military custody and summoned to appear April 3 in City Court.
