WATERTOWN, NY — National Grid will soon be starting a main retirement and install of new main on both 100 and 200 blocks of Sterling Street. There will be limited access to Sterling Street from the Washington intersection.
Lane closures and a appropriate advanced signage will be set up along Washington Street. There will be no to limited access onto Sterling for a period of time.
Flaggers will be present to manage traffic flow onto Sterling Street when possible.
Traffic may be delayed and limited to local traffic only. Work will be starting Thursday April 11, 2019. Expect delays for approximately 10-14 days.
