CARTHAGE, NY — Gordon D. DeLosh, 74, of 36687 State Route 3, Carthage, died Sunday morning, Nov. 4, 2018, at Lewis County General Hospital in Lowville surrounded by his family.
Born Feb. 12, 1944, in Watertown, the son of the late Harry and Irene (Britton) DeLosh, he graduated in 1962 from Carthage Central High School.
He married Deanna M. Dalton on June 19, 1965, at St. James Church in Carthage.
For many years he was employed at James River Corp in Carthage as a vibration analyst and retired in 1996.
Gordon was a member of the BPOE Lodge # 1762 in Carthage and was a lifetime outdoorsman.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Deanna M. DeLosh, Carthage; a daughter, Nicole DeLosh (Marc Fargo), Martinsburg; a son, Jeffrey (Renee’) DeLosh, Richland; three grandchildren, Morgan (Tyler) Kennedy, Jacob and Miah DeLosh, two step-grandchildren, Reis and T.J. Harding; two great grandchildren, Toren and Roxy Kennedy; a brother, Harry (Duke) and Amanda DeLosh Jr., Canaseraga, NY; and nieces and nephews.
All services will be held privately by the family. There will be no calling hours.
Arrangements are with the Bezanillla-McGraw Funeral Home.
