Gouverneur man accused of damaging door at Watertown apartment, police say

WATERTOWN, NY —  Jeremy M. Crutchfield, 34, of 503 Sleepy Hollow Road, Apt. C, Gouverneur, was charged by Watertown police at 10:37 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 1, at the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building with fourth-degree criminal mischief.

Mr. Crutchfield is accused of punching a hole through a front door belonging to his ex-girlfriend, Amber Philbrick, 33, during a domestic incident at about 7:17 p.m. Thursday at 816 Franklin St., upper apt., according to court documents.

He was being held at the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building pending a video arraignment, police said.
