Greater Watertown-North Country Chamber now accepting resumes for President & CEO

WATERTOWN, NY – The Greater Watertown North Country Chamber of Commerce announced today that they have launched a search for the position of President & CEO. Current Chamber President & CEO, Kylie Peck, accepted a new position with the NYS Department of State and will remain with the organization until
January 7, 2022.

GWNC Chamber of Commerce outgoing Board of Directors chair, Laurie Podvin said “We look forward to the search for a new President & CEO when there is so much happening in our local business community in terms of continued downtown revitalization and the strong small business growth our community has shown during even the most challenging of times”.

Incoming board chairman, Bryon Perry added “Our board is committed to filling this position with an innovative and strategic thinker who can build on the foundation Kylie set and will lend their expertise and love of our area to our membership driven organization. We know the greater Watertown community is
poised to grow, and we’re optimistic about the new businesses that are opening, the next generations taking over and businesses under new ownership. The Board of Directors is ready to bring on a new leader to continue expanding our services and membership in 2022”.
