WATERTOWN, NY — Idris F. Wilder, 91, Watertown, passed away Friday, Dec. 13, 2019, at the Samaritan Keep Home.
Calling hours 1 to 4 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 17, at the Reed & Benoit Funeral Home, Watertown. A graveside service will be held in the spring at the time of burial in North Watertown Cemetery.
Born Jan. 25, 1928, in Watetown, a daughter to Stephen and Ruth (McCready) Bennett, she was education locally, and worked as a custodian for the Watertown City School District until her retirement.
She married Merton Wilder in 1986. Mr. Wilder passed away in 1996.
She is survived by her children, Patrick Frost of Adams Center, Frances (Richard) VanEpps of Watertown, Charles (Doris) Frost of LaFargeville, Darlene Ferard of Watertown; her grandchildren, Dawn Day, Richard VanEpps, Michelle Walts, Amanda Springer; her great-grandchildren, Jonah, Natalie, Claire, Zachary, Elijah, Raymond; and her siblings, Charlotte Ubriaco, Leo Bennett, Stephen Bennett, Jr.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Hospice of Jefferson County.
