WATERTOWN, NY —Â Megan R. Murray, 29, of 140 Central St., Watertown, was charged by Watertown police at 8:15 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 3, at the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building with fourth-degree grand larceny, a felony.
She is accused of stealing approximately $1,500 from IHOP restaurant, 1290 Arsenal St., when she gave herself “exorbitant tips multiple times using gift cards she knew to have inadequate funds” on July 27, according to court documents.
She is summoned to appear Oct. 22 in City Court.
