Jaime Lynn Atkinson-Bell, 41, Watertown

The celebration of life for Jaime Lynn Atkinson-Bell will be 2:00pm Saturday, January 6th at the Christian Life Center, 12749 NYS Rte. 12E, Chaumont, Pastor James Hayes officiating. A luncheon will follow the service at the church, and all are invited to attend.

Jaime passed away Sunday, December 31st at the Samaritan Keep Nursing Home where she had resided since 2008 due to Huntington’s Chorea. She was 41 years old.

Born in Watertown June 10, 1976 she was a daughter of the late David T. and Karen (Atkinson) Collins. She married Michael Bell in 2005, and the couple is currently separated.

On June 1, 1995 she gave birth to the love of her life, Jordan Marie Treat, with whom she shared her love of music.

Jamie had many jobs, most notably working at Walmart in Ogdensburg, NY and New Hampshire. Her favorite job, however, was being a mother to Jordan.

Surviving is her daughter Jordan M. Treat of Saratoga Springs; her grandmother Mary F. Collins (who raised her from the age of 9) of Brownville; her aunts Linda A. (Kenneth) Moore (whom she always considered her second parents) of Chaumont, Kathleen (John) Sprague of Glen Park, Therese (Timothy) McConnell of Glen Park; & her uncles Ronald (Martha) Collins of Black River, John (Debbie) Collins of North Carolina, John Atkinson of Florida. She is also survived by several cousins.
