James Biccum, 64, Watertown

WATERTOWN, NY — The funeral for James Biccum will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday, May 24, at the Reed & Benoit Funeral Home, Watertown, with Rev. Jeffrey E. Smith officiating. Burial will follow the service in Brookside Cemetery. Calling hours will precede the service at the funeral home beginning at 11:00 a.m. Thursday.

Mr. Biccum passed away at his residence Saturday, May 19, where he was surrounded by family and under the care of Hospice of Jefferson County. He was 64 years old.

Born Dec. 4, 1953, in Watertown, a son of Orley and June (Conway) Biccum, he attended Watertown schools.

He married Robin Blake on Oct. 23, 1981, in Watertown.

Mr. Biccum was a maintenance supervisor for CAPC for over 25 years. He enjoyed spending time with his family, hunting, and watching old movies.

Among his survivors are his wife, Robin Biccum, Watertown; a daughter: Krista Blake, Watertown; a son and daughter in-law: Sean and Shantel Biccum, Deferiet; a distant son and daughter in-law: James Jr. and Kristi Biccum, Watertown; & two brothers: Richard (Jean) Biccum, Seneca Falls, Mark (Lisa) Biccum, Florida. Also surviving are several grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

James was predeceased by two grandchildren, Anthony Fain, Devante Brown; & 6 siblings: Deborah Curran, Sandra Biccum, Orley Biccum, Jr., June Granger-Biccum, Mary Desormeau, and Raymond Biccum.
