The Development Authority of the North Country (AUTHORITY) is accepting applications for a non-exempt full time Administrative Associate for the Rodman, New York office at the Materials Management Facility. The hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 7:00am to 3:30pm.
JOB SUMMARY: The Administrative Associate is responsible for a wide range of administrative and management support tasks including, but not limited to, procurement activities, tracking and scheduling of employee health and safety activities, generation of purchase orders, processing accounts receivable and payables, customer relations, work order and fuel system tracking, performing scale house operations, and field customer inquiries regarding to waste disposal policies and procedures. The Administrative Associate will perform under the direction of the Landfill Superintendent with the leeway
allowed for independent judgment.
QUALIFICATIONS: The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3-years related office work experience with an Associate’s degree in Business Administration or Accounting. Advanced knowledge and use of Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Proven record of excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently and possess organizational skills. Ability to manage, adjust, and prioritize varied workloads based on such factors as work objectives, schedule, customer needs.
Plus, the ability to obtain a Weighmaster’s License within one (1) year from employment.
