NATURAL BRIDGE, NY — John M. Hammond, Natural Bridge, passed away Thursday, August 29, 2019, unexpectedly at his home. He was 29 years old.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 5, at the Reed & Benoit Funeral Home, with Rev. Bruce Chapman officiating. Calling hours will be held noon to 2 p.m. prior to the service.
Born Jan. 30, 1990, in Carthage, a son to Jon P. Hammond and Carmella Doyle, he graduated from Carthage Central School.
John enjoyed fishing, gaming, playing basketball, making music and playing with his fur babies.
He is survived by his husband, Dustin R. Hammond, Natural Bridge, his parents, Jon P. Hammond, Clayton;Â Carmella L. Doyle, Natural Bridge; son, Alexander Hammond, Boonville; foster daughter, Asia M. Hoffman, Natural Bridge; brother, Jacob A. (Cheyenne) Hammond, Henderson; brothers and sisters-in-law, Charles and Jessica Paro, Tina and Shane Calhoun, mother-in-law, Linda (Todd Lytle) Graves, Natural Bridge; father and mother-in-law, Clarence and Debra Paro; paternal grandmother, Janece Bouvia; grandfather, Don Watson, nieces and nephews, Aubree Forbes, Amelia and Jackson Hammond , Avery Paro and a large extended family.
John was predeceased by his paternal grandfather, John J. Hammond, maternal grandparents Leo and Leona Doyle and his grandmother Betty a. Watson
