LOWVILLE, NY – Joyce A. Crouse-Geer, 62, died Thursday afternoon, Jan. 16, 2020, at St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center where she has been a patient since the beginning of November.
Born March 12, 1957, in Lowville, a daughter of the late Milton C. and Charlotte N. (Roggie) Crouse, she graduated in 1975 from Lowville Academy and Central School.
Joyce worked for the former Lally Manufacturing Co., in Port Leyden and for Jreck Subs in Lowville.
Joyce also worked as a driver for the Office for the Aging and volunteered at Meals on Wheels.
She enjoyed camping and traveling.
Joyce loved her cat and animals, she also enjoyed knitting.
Surviving are a sister, Joan M. Crouse; two aunts, Elizabeth (Raymond) Larkins, and Mary (Eugene) Kloster; an uncle, John N. Roggie, Jr.; and several cousins.
A graveside service will be held at Beaches Bridge Cemetery in the spring.
