Julie L. Hull, 57, Watertown

WATERTOWN, NY —  The funeral service for Julie L. Hull will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, May 22, at the Reed & Benoit Funeral Home, Watertown. Burial in Brookside Cemetery will be held at a date and time convenient to her family. Calling hours will precede the service at the funeral home beginning at 11 a.m.

Julie passed away at SUNY Upstate Medical Center Friday, May 14, 2021. She was 57 years old.

Born Aug. 22, 1963, in Oscoda, Michigan, she was a daughter to Clarence and Martha (Switzer) Loveland. Following graduation from Watertown High School and Jefferson Community College Julie received a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Oswego College.

Julie worked as an administrative assistant on Fort Drum in the Child & Youth Services Department.

On Oct. 12, 1991, she married Brian P. Hull at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church.

Julie enjoyed photography, spending time with her family & grandchildren, going to the movies, swimming, and trips on the St. Lawrence River to Boldt Castle. She will be remembered as a devout Pittsburgh Steelers fan and cat lover who courageously defeated ovarian cancer.

Julie was a member of Operation HERO and Operation Kid Comfort through the Watertown YMCA.

Surviving besides her husband, Brian, and father, Clarence, are her children, Mariah Hull of Watertown, Tara and Michael Sutton of W. Virginia, Katrina Stanley of California; her grandchildren, Megan Sutton, William Sutton; and her siblings, Joseph (Beth) Loveland, Linda (Bill) Young. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
