Keith R. Rabetoy, 73, Adams

ADAMS, NY —  Keith R. Rabetoy passed away Thursday, Aug. 26, 2021, at the Samaritan Medical Center, Watertown, where he had been a patient. He was 73 years old.

Calling hours will be held noon to 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 3, at the Carpenter-Stoodley Funeral Home, Belleville. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral
home. Burial will follow the service in the Fairview Cemetery, Rodman.

Keith was born at Brown’s Nursing Home, Adams Center on Dec. 27, 1947, the son to the late John and Jean Chrysler Rabetoy. He worked for several years at Queens Farms; Pierrepont Manor up until it closed then went to work for Fuccillo’s detailing vehicles.

Keith married Marlene M. Rabetoy on March 10, 1973, in the Adams Center Baptist Church. The couple lived in the Adams area all their married life. Marlene passed away February 2, 2019.

Surviving are two sons Keith H. (Cheryl) Rabetoy, Adams Center; Craig Rabetoy, Watertown; a daughter, Angela (Phil) Janusheske, Adams; 10 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Also surviving are his siblings, Wayne (Denise) Rabetoy, Beverly (Donald) Kline, Mannsville; Sally Cronk, Illion, Ross Rabetoy, Rodman; Marcia (Mike) Rice, Mohawk; Debby (Ray) Cean; Watertown and Rob Rabetoy; Rodman.

Besides his wife and parents he was predeceased by a son Michael who died in 2009, a sister Gloria Rabetoy McGrath, a brother Bill Rabetoy and a brother-in-law John Cronk.

Keith enjoyed searching for treasures with his metal detector, stone collecting, walking and was always willing to try his luck on a new invention or winning the lottery.
