MOHAWK, NY — Kurt F. Brown, 63, Mohawk, NY, died at home after a short illness.
A celebration of life will be held noon to 4 p.m. Saturday May 28, 2022, at Savory Downtown, Watertown, NY.
At his request there will be no calling hours or funeral service.
He was born Dec. 31, 1958, in Watertown, the son of the late Irwin and Frances Exley Brown.
Kurt is survived by his wife, Suzanne M. (Hyde) Brown, Mohawk, N.Y.; daughter, Ana Stumpf and husband Hans, Glen Allen, VA; son, Colton Brown and companion, Lynnsey Buckley, Barneveld, NY; grandson Marshall Stumpf; three siblings, Helen Duffy and husband Rich, Clayton, NY, Edward Brown and wife Sharon, Dexter, NY, and Jay Brown and wife Kim, Clayton, NY; aunt Connie O’Neill, Clayton, NY; mother- and father-in-law William and Pamela Hyde, Galway, NY; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Kurt was a devout NY Giants fan. He enjoyed camping, trout fishing, spending time in the Adirondacks and music. He also enjoyed the time he spent as a white water rafting guide.
But most of all, he was a devoted family man.
