LaFargeville man charged with aggravated DWI in Watertown

WATERTOWN, NY  — Dale L. Timmerman Jr., 25, LaFargeville, was charged by Watertown police at 1:55 a.m. Friday, June 15, at Interstate Mobil, 1268 Arsenal St., with aggravated driving while intoxicated and passing a red light.

His blood alcohol content was 0.19 percent, police said. A BAC of 0.08 percent or more is considered proof of intoxication under state law. Aggravated DWI, which carries harsher penalties upon conviction, is charged when the BAC is 0.18 percent or greater.

He is summoned to appear June 27 in City Court.
