Lewis County man accused of possessing stolen shotgun and ammunition, deputies say

LOWVILLE, NY —  Kyle M. Poore, 36, Glenfield, was charged on Aug. 1 with third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, a felony, fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property and fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property, a misdemeanor, according to the Lewis County Sheriff’s Office. “Poore was in possession of a 12-gauge shotgun and ammunition that was previously reported stolen. He is also a multi-convicted felon and is prohibited from possessing weapons,” deputies wrote. The incident was reported July 11. Poore was arraigned in Lewis County Court and was ordered held in jail on a parole violation with no bail, deputies said.
