Local students named to Hamilton College spring 2021 Dean’s List

CLINTON, NY — The following local residents were named to the Dean’s List at Hamilton College for the spring 2021 semester:

Sidney Molnar of Norfolk (13667). Molnar, a rising senior majoring in mathematics and physics, is a graduate of The Taft School.

Rorie Newman of Rensselaer Falls (13680). Newman, a rising sophomore, is a graduate of Hugh C. Williams Senior High School.

Lelan O’Brien of Black River (13612). O’Brien, a rising junior majoring in government, is a graduate of Carthage Central School.

Michael Peebles of Lowville (13367). Peebles, a rising senior majoring in neuroscience, is a graduate of Lowville Academy & Central School.

Chad Varney of Potsdam (13676). Varney, a rising senior majoring in art, is a graduate of The Gunnery.

To be named to the Dean’s List, a student must have carried throughout the semester a course load of four or more graded credits with an average of 3.5 or above.
