Lori G. Gorczyca, 60, Glenfield

GLENFIELD, NY – Lori Gaylord Gorczyca, 60, died Sunday morning, Nov. 25, 2018, at her home.

Born June 9, 1958, in Lowville, the daughter of Kenneth H. and Nancy A. (Wantz) Gaylord, Jr., she was a 1976 graduate of Lowville Academy and Central School.

She married Richard J. “Richie” Gorczyca, Jr. on December 31, 2004 with Honorable Owen Williams Justice of the Peace, officiating.

Lori was an artist, she enjoyed drawing, making jewelry, sewing, and was the owner of the Tie Dye Place. She enjoyed going to camp with Richie, fishing, and her cats.

She is survived by her husband Richie; her mother Nancy A. Gaylord; her siblings Penny (Michael) McCue; David (Amy) Gaylord; Shelly (Richard) Schneider;  nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great nephews.

She was predeceased by her father Kenneth, and her grandma Delilia “Tootsie” Gorczyca.

Calling hours for family and friends will be 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, at the Sundquist Funeral Home. The funeral will follow at 2:00 p.m. with the Rev. Bruce W. Chapman, retired minister, officiating. Burial will be in the spring.
