Lowville Academy hosts 43 teachers from across the country for 10 day professional development

LOWVILLE, NY —  Lowville Academy and Central School is currently hosting a 10-day professional development institute (July 28-August 7, 2019) for 43 participants.

Participants traveled from all over the United States reigning from the state of New York, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Maryland, West Virginia, Ohio, Kansas, Arkansas, Nevada, Wisconsin and Minnesota to participate in this excellent opportunity.

The institute provides experience in a full year of curriculum for Introduction to Agriculture, Food, and Natural Resources or Agricultural Power and Technology depending on the institute participants selected. The in depth coursework was written by Curriculum for Agricultural Science Education (CASE), which is an initiative of The National Council for Agricultural Education.and managed by the National Association of Agricultural Educators (NAAE).
