LOWVILLE, NY —Â Due to the virus, gathering ban, and social distancing regulations, the Lowville Village Band has made the difficult decision to cancel the 2020 summer concert series.
This was a decision that wasn’t taken lightly. At this time, there isn’t a way for us to be together, rehearse, or perform music with the current regulations in place. While some may say this decision is early, we want to be proactive. We don’t know what will happen in the next month or so, but we want to make sure our musicians, directors, and community audience members are safe and healthy. Every summer, we want to attract huge audiences to listen, eat dinner, listen to music, and enjoy time together with their friends and families. Sadly, that isn’t realistic or possible at this current time.
Our musicians and directors will miss performing for you all at beautiful Veterans Memorial Park, but we will be back performing this Christmas season.
