Lowville man accused of burglary at Carthage residence, police say

CARTHAGE, NY —  Russell D. Hutchins III, 22, of 7675 Park Ave., Lowville, was charged by Carthage police at 10:35 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 17, at his residence with second-degree burglary, a felony, and petit larceny, a misdemeanor.

Mr. Hutchins is accused of entering the residence of Samantha M. Delong, 589 S. James St., Carthage, and stole property belonging to her at about 6:20 a.m. Aug. 12, according to court documents.

He was arraigned by video before Watertown City Judge Anthony M. Neddo who released him under the supervision of the Jefferson County Department of Probation pending Grand Jury action.
