LOWVILLE, NY — The Lewis County Sheriff’s Office arrested Claud R. Bodle Jr., 44, Route 12, Lowville, on Tuesday, May 22, following an investigating that alleges he had inappropriate contact with a female inmate.
He is charged with forcible touching, second-degree sex abuse and official misconduct.
Mr. Bodle was arraigned in Lowville Village Court and released on his own recognizance with an order of protection for the victim issued.
The investigation is continuing, deputies said.
