Lowville woman accused of damaging two vehicles with a knife

LOWVILLE, NY —  Brandi L. Brown, 32, Lowville, was charged by Lowville police at 5:10 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 22, with second-degree criminal mischief, a class D felony, and third-degree criminal mischief, a class E felony.

“The arrest stems from a complaint that was filed on Sept. 15 with the Lowville Village Police Department in which two vehicles were damages extensively,” police said.

“It is alleged that Mrs. Brown used a knife to puncture holes in the vehicle tires and also used the knife to make large scratches and scrapes in both of the vehicles paint. The estimated total damage is listed at $3,227.32,” police said.

Mrs. Brown was arraigned in Lowville Village Court in before Judge Scordo and was released on her own recognizance.
