WATERTOWN, NY —Â Aaron S. Whitmore, 35, of 24097 State Route 12, Apt. 20, Watertown, was charged by Watertown police at 9:17 p.m. Wednesday, July 24, at 24097 State Route 12 with second-degree assault, a felony, third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, a felony, second-degree menacing, a misdemeanor, and second-degree harassment.
Mr. Whitmore is accused of using a knife to attempt to cut Jordan J. Savage, 28, Watertown, and kicked him several times while he was on the ground at about 12:25 a.m. July 8 at 273 High St., police said.
He was being held pending arraignment Thursday morning in City Court.
