Man accused of damaging two state troopers’ personal vehicles

ELBRIDGE, NY — State Police charged Gordon J. Pitre, 39, of 6 Valley Drive, Jordan, NY, on Thursday, Oct. 25, with third-degree criminal mischief, a class “E” felony.

Pitre is accused of damaging two New York State Troopers personally owned vehicles while they were parked at the State Police Barracks in Elbridge, N.Y.

The investigation determined, on Oct. 9, 2018, Mr. Pitre was at the SP Elbridge station waiting for a friend who was being arrested and became upset and verbally abusive to the troopers who were at the station, police said.

The damage to both vehicles included large scratches that were made by a key, police said.

On Oct. 25, 2018, Gordon Pitre was arrested and issued an appearance ticket to appear in Elbridge Town Court on Oct. 29, 2018 at 5pm.
