Man accused of shoplifting beer and meat from Tops

WATERTOWN, NY —   James Washington Jr., 55, of 19325 US Route 11, Apt. 116, Watertown, was charged by Watertown police at 7:16 p.m. Monday, Feb. 24, at his residence with petit larceny.

Mr. Washington is accused of stealing beer and meat from Tops food store, 1330 Washington St., at about 4:10 p.m. Jan. 31, according to court documents.

He is summoned to appear March 13 in City Court.
