WATERTOWN, NY —Â Matthew R. Alexis, 23, Watertown, was charged by Watertown police at 3:55 p.m. Sept. 26 in the 500 block of Coffeen Street with petit larceny.
He is accused of stealing a pair of gray Puma sneakers valued at $100 and belonging to Maxwell M. Bersett, 55, which were located outside his apartment door at about 6:05 a.m. Sept. 22 at 130 Court St., according to court documents.
He is summoned to appear Oct. 11 in City Court.
