WATERTOWN, NY — Jaidante D. Burton, 41, of 15734 Eimicke Place, Apt. 2-108, Watertown, was charged by Watertown police at 11:48 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 16, at 550 Coffeen St. with second-degree unlawful surveillance and five counts of endangering the welfare of a child.
Mr. Burton is accused of installing an imaging device in the residential restroom of 550 Coffeen St., Apt. 301, for no legitimate purpose to surreptitiously view, broadcast or record a person without the occupants’ knowledge or consent at about 10:00 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 16, according to court documents.
The home is occupied by five children ages 16, 8, 9 and two 14-years-old, police said.
He was being held pending arraignment Sunday morning in City Court.
