WATERTOWN, NYÂ — Alexander E. Mauch, 45, of 661 Factory St., Apt. 21, Watertown, was charged by Watertown police at 6:18 p.m. Tuesday, May 1, at 124 S. Massey St. with unauthorized used of a vehicle without consent of the owner and second-degree harassment. He is accused of entering a 2010 Chrysler Sebring belonging to Misalea J. Johnson, Theresa, and started the vehicle with keys he found inside the car while knowing he had no right to do so at about 5:43 p.m. Tuesday at 124 S. Massey St., police said. He also allegedly struck a patrolman in his chest with a closed fist during the investigation at about 6:15 p.m. Tuesday, according to court documents. He was being held pending arraignment Tuesday evening in City Court.
