WATERTOWN, NY — Chad M. Raymond, 39, of 105 Brandywine Ave., Schenectady, was charged by Watertown police at 10:40 a.m. Friday, July 13, at the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building with first-degree criminal contempt, a felony.
Mr. Raymond is accused of violating the terms of a St. Lawrence County Court stay-away order of protection when he communicated with the 15-year-old male protected party by send him a friends request through Facebook at about 12:01 a.m. July 3, police said.
He was held for arraignment Friday in City Court.
