Man threw cell phone at TV causing screen to shatter during domestic incident, police say

WATERTOWN, NY —  John A. Lowden Jr., 35, of 409 Academy St., Apt. 4, Watertown, was charged by Watertown police at 12:03 a.m. Tuesday, July 28, at 409 Academy St. with fourth-degree criminal mischief, a misdemeanor.

Mr. Lowden is accused of throwing a cell phone at a television belonging to Kimberly Chisam causing the screen to shatter during a domestic incident at about 11:30 p.m. Monday, July 27, at 409 Academy St., Apt. 4, at about 11:30 p.m. Monday, police said.

He was being held at the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building pending arraignment in City Court.
