Watertown man accused of choking woman during domestic incident

WATERTOWN, NY —  David J. Robinson, 23, of 1102 Boyd St., Watertown, was charged by Watertown police at 10:18 p.m. Wednesday, May 22, at his residence with criminal obstruction of breathing or blood circulation and second-degree harassment.

He is accused of repeatedly punching and kicking a 22-year-old woman in her left arm causing pain and redness to her left wrist during a domestic incident at about 8:20 p.m. Wednesday at their home, police said.

Mr. Robinson also allegedly applied grabbed the woman by her neck with one hand and squeezed causing her breathing to become labored, according to court documents.

He was being held pending arraignment Thursday morning in City Court.
