Margaret M. Visconti, 75, Watertown

WATERTOWN, NY — Margaret M. Visconti, 75, of 27641 State Rt. 37, Watertown, passed away June 4, 2018, at the Samaritan Keep Nursing Home where she had been a resident.

There will be no calling hours or funeral service. It was her wish to be cremated and services be held at the convenience of the family.

She was born Dec. 5, 1942, in Queens, NY, the daughter of Jack Melchionna and Margaret Rush.

While living in Queens she met Thomas James Visconti from Brooklyn whom she married on July 1, 1967, at St. Gregory’s Church in Queens. She was a very good cook and enjoyed reading. When her daughter was young she volunteered as a scout leader for Girl Scouts. Most of all she loved her family and was an old fashioned honest person.
