ADAMS, NY — Marguerite E. “Peggy” Jones, 77, wife of Paul Jones, Adams, NY, passed away peacefully at the Keystone Villa, Douglassville, PA, where she was under the care of her family and Hospice.
Graveside services will be held in Union Cemetery, Adams Center, at a day and time to be announced over Labor Day weekend.
Arrangements are with the Carpenter-Stoodley Funeral Home, Belleville, NY.
She is survived by her husband, Paul; two daughters Mary Beth Arms, Birdsboro, PA and Jennifer Ball, Flagstaff, AZ; a son Paul Jones, Apex, NC; 3 grandchildren, Kate and Sam Harner; and Madison Ball; 2 brothers John “Jack” Spade, Perkiomenville, PA and Vincent Spade, Boyertown, PA; several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a brother, Robert Spade.
Marguerite was born March 4, 1941 in Allentown, PA, a daughter to Vincent and Loretta (Carlton) Spade. She graduated from St. Pius High School in Pottstown, PA and attended college.
She married Paul Jones March 22, 1969.
Mrs. Jones retired as a computer graphics programmer with Lockheed Martin of King of Prussia, PA. Mr. and Mrs. Jones were snowbirds and spent their winters in Venice, FL.
Marguerite was a communicant of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Schwenkville, PA.
