WATERTOWN, NY — Mayor Joseph M. Butler, Jr. is proud to join the Ancient Order of Hibernians as they raise the Irish flag over City Hall on Sunday, March 17, 2019, at 10:45 a.m., in honor of St. Patrick and all the Irish have done for this great Country.
Joining Mayor Butler will be the City Council Members, as well as AOH Division President Sean M. Hennessey and this year’s Grand Marshal, Lynn Brown of WPBS-TV. This is the 100th Anniversary of the Declaration of Independence in Ireland!
The Ancient Order of Hibernians is the oldest and largest Irish Catholic Fraternal group in the U.S. Its mission is to grow awareness of Irish Culture through friendship, unity and Christian charity. We invite people of all faiths and cultures to attend this worthy event.
