More than 100 food vendors broaden food and drink mix at NYS Fair

SYRACUSE, NY —  When the gates open August 24 for the 2022 Great New York State Fair, 15 new food and drink vendors will be ready to serve new tastes to hungry and thirsty fairgoers.  New choices span the globe, ranging from Maine lobster to Texas barbecue, gyros from Greece, bowls with Brazilian flair and street food from Bosnia. There will also be hot sauces and chilling ices, spicy salsas and soothing teas joining an array of more than 100 food and beverage vendors.

State Fair interim Director Sean Hennessey said, “This large crop of new food and drink providers will offer fairgoers a wonderful chance to try new things and find new favorites. At the same time, faithful fairgoers will be delighted to return to food places that they only get a chance to try once a year, too. I’ve already started to plan my Fair meals.”
