Nancy A. Foster, 62, Lowville

LOWVILLE, NY — Nancy Ann Foster, 62, of Highland Avenue., passed away on Monday morning, March 11, 2019 at Faxton-St. Luke’s Healthcare, Utica.

A funeral Mass will be said 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 19, 2019, at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, Lowville with Rev. Jay Seymour, pastor, officiating. Burial will be at a later date in St. Vincent of Paul Cemetery, Cape Vincent. Calling hours are 1 to 3 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, March 18, 2019, at Iseneker Funeral Home, Inc. Lowville.

Nancy was born on Oct. 20, 1956, in Watertown, NY, a daughter of the late Harold and Marie Doctour Reasoner and graduated from Thousand Island High School in 1974 and from Jeff/Lewis B.O.C.E.S. in the nursing program.

She worked for Dr. Livingston for a year and then for Mercy Hospital as an LPN until 1979.

On May 20, 1978, she married John R. Foster at St. Vincent of Paul Catholic Church, Cape Vincent, with Rev. Leo Wiley, officiating.  The family moved to Lowville in 1986 and she worked for Lewis County General Hospital from 1990 to 2018, when she retired.

Nancy was a communicant of St. Peter’s Catholic Church, Lowville.

She enjoyed sewing, gardening, horses and dogs. She loved to be at home. Most of all, she loved to watch her granddaughter dance.

In our eyes Nancy “NaNa” will forever be an angel.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 40 years, John; three children; Adam and his wife, Sara Foster of Alabama; Aaron Foster and his fiancé,Gladys of Ft. Payne, Alabama, Amy Foster of Lowville; her cherished granddaughter, Kali Foster of Lowville; a sister, Linda Reasoner of Cape Vincent.

She was predeceased by her parents and a sister, Ann Reasoner, who died at birth.
