New York Army National Guard promotions

LATHAM, NY – Major General Ray Shields, the Adjutant General for the State of New York, announces the promotion of members of the New York Army National Guard in recognition of their capability for additional responsibility and leadership.

Hannah Isaac from Evans Mills, N.Y. and assigned to the 10th Mountain Division (Mobile Command Post Operational Detachment) received a promotion to the rank of Specialist.

James Shaw from Evans Mills, N.Y. and assigned to the Company B (Maintenance), 427th Brigade Support Battalion received a promotion to the rank of Sergeant.

Michael Forkell from Copenhagen, N.Y. and assigned to the 1427th Transportation Company received a promotion to the rank of Sergeant.

Justin Wagner from West Carthage, N.Y. and assigned to the Headquarters and Support Company, 204th Engineer Battalion received a promotion to the rank of Sergeant.

Army National Guard promotions are based on overall performance, attitude, leadership ability, and development potential.
