New York Army National Guard promotions announces

LATHAM, NY — Major General Ray Shields, the Adjutant General for the State of New York, announces the promotion of members of the New York Army National Guard in recognition of their capability for additional responsibility and leadership.

Caleb Crossman from Watertown (zip code 13601), N.Y., and assigned to the Company C, 2nd Battalion, 108th Infantry Regiment, received a promotion to the rank of specialist on July 13, 2022.

Jedidiah Fanning from Watertown (zip code 13601), N.Y., and assigned to the A Troop, 2nd Squadron, 101st Cavalry Regiment, received a promotion to the rank of specialist on June 29, 2022.

Antonio Leija from Oneida (zip code 13601), N.Y., and assigned to the Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 204th Engineer Battalion, received a promotion to the rank of sergeant on July 28, 2022.

Ashley Ordway from Fort Drum (zip code 13603), N.Y., and assigned to the 105th Military Police Company, received a promotion to the rank of specialist on July 6, 2022.

Tessa Orloff from Adams (zip code 13605), N.Y., and assigned to the Company B, 427th Brigade Support Battalion, received a promotion to the rank of private 1st class on July 28, 2022.

Army National Guard promotions are based on overall performance, attitude, leadership ability, and development potential.
