ADAMS CENTER, NY — Norman Scott, 57, Orange City, FL, and formerly from Adams Center, NY, Â passed away Friday, April 26, 2019, unexpectedly at his residence.
Born Feb. 16, 1962, in Watertown, a son to Leland and Betty Chisholm Scott, he went to work for the New York State Department of Corrections in 1990, retiring later in his career due to advisability.
Norman was a member of the Adams Center Fire Department and was an avid motorcyclist.
He is survived by his mother, Betty Chisholm Scott Redden, Adams Center; 2 sisters, Diane Jordan, Philadelphia; Susan (Kenneth) Lowe, Dexter; brother, Wayne (Darlene) Scott, Watertown; his best friend, Dianne Scott, Adams Center. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Besides his father he was predeceased by his brother, James Scott; and two sisters, Linda Lawler and Phyllis Coutermarsh.
A celebration of life will be held at a day and time to be announced.
