WATERTOWN, NY – As our environment changes rapidly, so does how we approach business and how we must serve our member-owners and community. Due to the recent rise of COVID-19 cases, Northern is temporarily closing the Factory Relationship Center lobby, effective Wednesday, January 13. These precautions help protect our member-owners, internal-owners, and community.
Drive-thru service will remain open, and night drop will still be available for deposits and processed each Monday, Wednesday and Friday. The Commerce Relationship Center lobby remains open for members to make appointments for select services including business transactions and change orders.
Mortgage closings still will occur at 138 Factory Street.

We continue to encourage the use of digital services, including Video Banking, which members can use to do most banking from home or on-the-go, including new accounts and loans, document signing, account maintenance and more.
Mobile Banking can also be used to deposit checks, pay bills and check account

Team members are also available to assist by call or text at 315.782.0155 and through Live Chat on mynorthern.com. Members can also get many questions answered 24/7 with our website chatbot by clicking the green chat icon in the right-hand corner on any page of our website.
Advanced ATMs at our drive-thrus allow members to do more with their debit and ATM cards, including check cashing in one step, loan payments, requesting a mini-statement, seeing all accounts and shares they have access to, and choosing specific cash denominations for withdrawal. Team members also remain available at Personal Tellers to speak with members face-to-face during business hours.
As a reminder, masks are required when entering any relationship center in accordance with NYS law. All individuals visiting our relationship centers will have their temperature taken at the door before entering. We invite members to use the hand sanitizer available in each lobby before and after each transaction and ask
they maintain appropriate social distancing. Our team members clean shared surfaces frequently and our cleaning company disinfects each relationship center nightly.
