WATERTOWN, NY – As our environment and the news change rapidly, so does how we approach business and how we must serve our member-owners and the community. Due to the recent rise of COVID-19 cases in some communities, Northern is temporarily closing the LeRay and Carthage Relationship Center lobbies effective Tuesday, December 22. Drive-thru service will remain open at these locations. Our night drop will still be available for business deposits and will be checked each Monday and Friday. We’re taking these precautions to protect our member-owners, internal-owners, and community as a whole.
We recommend that our members use Video Banking, to do nearly all banking from home or on the go including, new accounts and loans, document signing, account maintenance and more. We continue to encourage the use of all of our digital services whenever possible.
Team members are also available to assist by calling or texting 315.782.0155 and through Live Chat on our website. Members can also get many questions answered 24/7 with our new website chatbot by clicking the green chat icon in the right-hand corner on any page on our website.
Now members can do more with our debit and ATM cards at our drive-thrus. With our Advanced ATMs, check cashing can be completed in one step and members can make loan payments, request a mini-statement, see all accounts and shares they have access to, and choose specific cash denominations for withdrawal.
Team members also remain available at Personal Tellers to speak with members face-to-face.
As a reminder, masks are still required when entering any relationship center in accordance with NYS law. All individuals visiting our relationship centers will have their temperature taken at the door before entering. We invite our members to use the hand sanitizer available in each lobby before and after each transaction and ask that they maintain appropriate social distancing. Our team members clean shared surfaces frequently and our cleaning company disinfects each relationship center nightly.
