NYSP: 2 men and a woman arrested for stealing items from Walmart in LeRay

WATERTOWN, NY —  State Police in Watertown arrested Earl C. Towne II, age 39, Watertown, NY, for third-degree burglary, a class “D” felony.

Towne, who is currently on parole, is charged with stealing $186.00 in items from Super Walmart on US Route 11 in Evans Mills, NY.

During the investigation, Investigators determined two other individuals assisted Mr. Towne in the larceny.

  • Katie M. Loffler, age 21, Hermon, NY, was arrested for fifth-degree Criminal Possession of Stolen Property (A-misdemeanor), fifth-degree conspiracy (A-misdemeanor), and several drug charges.

  • Richard J. Massia, age 38, Watertown, NY, was arrested for fifth-degree Criminal Possession of Stolen Property (A-misdemeanor), Conspiracy 5th degree (A-misdemeanor), and several drug charges.

All three suspects, who are currently under supervision with NYS Parole, were also charged with parole violations.

They were arraigned and remanded to the Jefferson County jail without bail.
