MOIRA, NY —Â On September 12, 2021, at 9:22 a.m., State Police responded to a report of an accident involving an Amish buggy on Elmer Road in Moira.
An investigation at the scene revealed that 3-year-old Sam Miller of Winthrop fell from the buggy while it was in motion, troopers said.
The child was transported to the University of Vermont Health Network at the Alice Hyde Medical Center in Malone where he was pronounced deceased.
