GOUVERNEUR, NY —Â On September 1, 2020, State Police arrested an 18-year-old from Gouverneur, following an investigation of a reported harassment in Harrisville, town of Pitcairn.
The victim had been receiving threatening text messages and voice mails from the suspect, troopers said.
The suspect also used multiple social media platforms to contact and harass the victim, troopers said.
He was charged with second-degree aggravated harassment and fourth-degree stalking both misdemeanors.
He was released with appearance tickets for Pitcairn Town Court.
