WATERTOWN, NY — Thomas C. Trainham, age 58, Watertown, NY, was charged by state police on March 13, 2022, with first-degree robbery, a class “B” felony, and third-degree robbery, a class “D” felony.
Mr. Trainham is accused of forcibly taking a cell phone and wallet from the 53-year-old male victim during a physical altercation inside a room at the Watertown Budget Inn located at 19226 Route 11 Apt. 4 in Watertown, NY, troopers said.
Mr. Trainham was transported to the Jefferson County CAP Court and was remanded to the custody of the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office without bail.
A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 9 a.m. March 17, 2022, in town of Watertown Court.
